"Now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. The
watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers,
the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to This. For this night and all nights to come."
Wizard's First Rule: People are stupid. They will
believe anything they want to be true or fear to be true.
Wizard's Second Rule: The greatest harm can result from the best intentions.
Wizard's Third Rule: Passion rules reason.
Wizard's Fourth Rule: There is magic in forgiveness -the magic to heal! In the forgiveness you grant, and more so in the
forgiveness you receive.
Wizard's Fifth Rule: Mind what people do, not only what they say, for deeds will betray a lie.
Wizard's Sixth Rule: The only sovereign you can allow to rule you is reason.
Wizard's Seventh Rule: Life is the future, not the past.
Wizard's Eighth Rule: Deserve victory.
Wizard's Nineth Rule: A contrediction cannot exist in reality. Not in part, nor in whole. To believe in a contradiction
is to abdicate your belief in the existence of the world around you and the nature of things in it, to instead embrace any
random impluse that strikes your fancy- to imagine something is real simply because you wish it were.
The Seeker of Truth's Precept: Once committed to fight, cut. Everything else is secondary. Cut. That is your duty, your
purpose, your hunger. There is no rule more important, no commitment that overrides that one. Cut. The lines are a portrayal
of the dance. Cut from the void, not from bewilderment. Cut the enemy as quickly and directly as possible. Cut with certainty.
Cut decisively, resoluely. Cut into his strength. Flow through the gaps in his guard. Cut him. Cut him down utterly. Don't
allow him a breath. Crush him. Cut him without mercy to the depths of his spirit. It is the balance of life: death. It is
the dance with death.
